On Tuesday 18th May 1993, Shri. Vikramsinhaji Patankar laid the foundation of ‘SAKAS’ at Mhavashi,Tal. Patan, Dist. Satara.
In the span of last two decades ‘SAKAS’ has carved its name in the minds of customers and is known for its Purity, Incomparable Quality and Taste. ‘Sakas’ has State-of-Art Infrastructure where one lac liters of milk  is processed per day and ten tons of milk byproducts are manufactured per day. This plant is operated and managed by hundred equally skilled human resources, who dedicatedly monitor the quality and taste of the milk and milk-products. ‘Sakas’ Plant is situated at ‘Koyana Parisar’ blessed by nature. The milk is collected from the hilly areas and ‘Koynanagar Dam’ area which is blessed by nature. This natural milk (organic milk ) is used in all ‘Sakas’ milk products and hence the products are also natural.The latest technology from the western world and the purity of the nature goes hands-in-hand at ‘Sakas’ plant. The entire ‘Sakas’ group has pledged for the customer satisfaction and ensures their delight with the wide range of products. like: Pasteurized, homogenized, toned milk, pasteurized standardised milk, high fat milk, Shrikhand, Velachi Shrikhand, Amrakhand, Chakka, Fresh cream, Table butter, white butter, Shudh Ghee ,Basundi, Khava, Pedhe, Dahi, Lassi, Mango Lassi, Buttermilk, Fresh Paneer, Flavoured Milk, etc. Today Sakas provide these products to Mumbai, Pune, Solapur, Kolhapur, Satara, Sangli, Ratnagiri, Raigad, Sindhudurg District.
